Michael Douglas Barbero[1] (born September 14, 1953)[2][3] is a retired United States ArmyLieutenant General and consultant.
Early life and education
[edit]Born in West Germany in 1953, Barbero was commissioned in the infantry upon graduation from the United States Military Academy at West Point with a B.S. degree in 1976.[2][3] He holds a master's degree in national security and strategic studies from the National Defense University, Washington, D.C. Barbero is also a graduate of the U.S. Army's Command and General Staff College and the School of Advanced Military Studies Program.
