Everything Yahoo does to improve mail makes it more and more impossible to use. The inaccurate package alerts, AI summaries, annoying shopping/deal prompts, insufficient SPAM filter, and poorly placed ads all fight for your attention and keep you from actually just reading your mail. Before you get as entrenched as I am, use another email client! And tell me what it is for when I finally get tired of this nonsense and switch.

Giving 1 star, because now, the app barely works (freezes up, locks up), the newest update added forced ads(think more intrusive IE slideouts, unwanted forced prompts/slideouts). Sent/inbox glitches bow on loading due to this. Oh, and YES ads were integrated a few years back if we look at update logs and when it was added in but I don't have the patience to go back look at update history logs and add in that exact time ads were added in. Look at edit history for more details.

Hi there, we've had ads for some time now, they are not new! They also run on a separate server therefore does not slow down the app. We recommend uninstalling and reinstalling the app. Giv

Yahoo Finally Takes Its New-Look Homepage Global, Bringing It To Seven Int’l Markets
Marissa Mayer’s repainting of Yahoo’s ‘front door’ has expanded its international reach, with the “more modern” looking homepage now being rolled out to seven global markets, six of them in Europe. The new-look homepage debuted in the U.S., back in February.
The spruced up portal is now available in the U.K., Ireland, Germany, France, Italy, Spain and South Africa, Yahoo said today in a blog post.
